01Programme approval
A programme specification defines the intended participants, entry expectations, learning outcomes, curriculum, total learning time, delivery method, assessment and certificate status. Enrolment does not open until the required elements are approved.
02Faculty and subject expertise
Faculty are selected for current subject knowledge, relevant professional or scholarly experience, teaching capability and freedom from unmanaged conflicts. Appointment to one programme does not imply a permanent institutional title.
03Assessment reliability
Assessed programmes use stated criteria, controlled tasks and documented marking. Sampling, moderation or independent review is applied where the form and consequence of assessment warrant it.
04Learner protection
Published information addresses workload, prerequisites, technical requirements, fees, cancellation rights, reasonable adjustments, academic integrity, complaints and appeals. Learners are not required to infer the status of a certificate from promotional language.
05Continuous review
Completion data, learner feedback, assessment performance, complaints and faculty observations inform scheduled review. Material revisions receive a new version and do not retrospectively change the conditions under which an earlier certificate was issued.
