Professional learning certificates

Certificates with a stated scope and verifiable record

An EAB certificate identifies the programme completed, the basis of issue and the status of the learning it records.

Certificate of Attendance

Confirms participation in a stated event or programme. It does not make a judgement about attainment, competence or professional authorisation.

Certificate of Completion

Confirms that the holder completed the published participation and learning requirements. The certificate states whether any learning activity was assessed.

Assessed Professional Learning Certificate

Confirms successful completion of a proprietary EAB programme with an assessment against stated criteria. It remains non-regulated unless the programme page expressly identifies a separate regulated awarding body and qualification reference.

Public meaning

No EAB certificate is presented as a degree, academic credit, statutory licence, chartered status, government approval or permission to conduct regulated work. The holder remains responsible for meeting any profession-specific legal and employer requirements.

Verification

Certificates are issued with a unique reference. The official verification service confirms the record held by EAB and may identify correction, withdrawal or expiry where applicable.
