Leadership and management

Leadership examined as judgement, responsibility and practice

EAB leadership education focuses on the quality of decisions, the conditions for coordinated action and the responsibilities attached to organisational authority.

Current programme specification

Executive Leadership and Strategy integrates diagnosis, choice, execution, governance and responsible leadership for experienced managers.

Planned curriculum fields

Future development may include executive decision-making, change leadership, negotiation, crisis leadership, cross-cultural management, team leadership, strategic communication, coaching skills for managers and organisational design.

Method

Leadership claims are examined through evidence, cases, competing interpretations and practical constraints. Programmes do not reduce responsible management to personality labels or unsupported formulas.

Application

Participants are expected to connect concepts to decisions within their own authority while respecting confidentiality, employment obligations, governance and applicable law.
