Conflict of Interest Policy

EAB manages actual, potential and perceived conflicts so that decisions remain credible and defensible.

Duty to disclose

Applicants, reviewers, jurors, committee participants, speakers, staff and partners must disclose interests that a reasonable person could view as affecting judgement.

Management

Controls may include declaration on the record, restricted access, altered responsibility, independent moderation, recusal or withdrawal from the matter.

Commercial relationships

Payment, sponsorship, membership, partnership and event participation are not neutralised by disclosure alone; decision authority remains separated where influence could arise.

Record

Material declarations and management actions are retained in proportion to risk while public disclosure is limited to what accountability requires.
