Corporate Finance and Financial Modelling

An applied programme connecting corporate finance decisions with transparent, reviewable and decision-relevant financial models.

Programme purpose

Intended participants

  • Apply time-value, project-appraisal and cost-of-capital concepts
  • Build an integrated and reviewable forecast model
  • Separate assumptions, calculations, controls and outputs
  • Test scenarios, sensitivities and financing constraints
  • Identify model risk and communicate decision limitations

Curriculum

The curriculum covers corporate objectives; cash flow and the time value of money; project appraisal; capital structure; financing instruments; model architecture; integrated statements; scenario design; valuation outputs; model controls; and review documentation.
